Founded back in 2016, initially operating purely as a Cost Management service. The company has since extended its service, now including project management, strategic advisory and construction integration. The business is now split with 60% on Cost Management and the other 40% on Project Management!
The Role: My client, are looking for a driven Associate Director that is confident in providing an exceptional service to their clients.
You’ll be managing an industry leading team comprised of 50 Quantity Surveying professionals, responsible for leading the delivery and relationships with their clients, managing the costs and budgets of construction projects, from early cost advice to settlement of the final account.
Their projects cover a range of sectors including build to rent, later living, affordable housing, private for sale, student accommodation, hotels, strategic land, high rise, master planning and regeneration. Whilst they are residential led, projects tend to include mixed use with elements of amenities, commercial, retail and leisure.
Annual performance targets are set out at the start of the year, with mid/end of year reviews, tracking development and guiding you towards promotion to becoming Partner!
Flexible working is offered with 2-3 days week office commitments required.

Requirements for the Associate Director:
Quantity Surveying Degree awarded by a UK university and accredited by the RICS
Chartered with a minimum of four years post qualification experience
Demonstrable depth of experience in roles directly related to the provision of project Quantity Surveying services in a professional Quantity Surveying Consultancy firm
Experience and understanding of the full RIBA Plan of Work Stages
A proven ability to lead & deliver on time and provide a high-quality proactive service to clients
Experience in identifying and winning new work and building client relationships
A good communicator (written and verbal) who interacts well with Clients & other Consultants
Significant track record of leading teams on Residential projects
Ability to speak fluently and communicate effectively in written reports and oral presentations
