Associate Quantity Surveyor - Central London (Covent Garden)

The Role: Are you looking for a new challenge working on some of the UK's most iconic projects?

My client, an industry leading Property & Construction Consultancy, are looking for an experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor that can deliver a world class service to their clients on high end projects across multiple sectors.

Founded back in 1835, they operate in all sectors of the built environment with a total of 17 offices that span across two continents!

You will be working within a team of 35 led by one of the company’s equity partners and a board member. Within this team, you will be given a clear direction to help you progress your career, as well as all the necessary tools to guide you towards promotion.

The ideal candidate will be chartered, client focused and confident, with experience working in a consultancy environment on similar projects.

Project values typically range between 10M – 40M. However, past ventures have seen them manage projects with values between £100m - £300M.

 

Office Location: Central London (Covent Garden)

Start Date: ASAP

Head Count: 1000+

Project Sectors: Commercial, Residential, Mixed-Use, Fit Out, Retail, Leisure & Hotels

 

Requirements for the Associate Quantity Surveyor:

  • Degree qualified – within a construction related discipline

  • MRICS or equivalent, with 10 years' industry experience

  • Confident in taking ownership of projects and seeing them through from start to finish, from feasibility to final account

  • Experience of working on high end, multi-million pound projects within the built environment

  • Clear communicator, able to report to clients and keep them informed every step of the way

  • Confident in managing others and delegating tasks whilst meeting deadlines, ensuring work and projects are running on time and to budget

  • Focused on fostering close relationships with clients, resolving issues and exceeding client expectations

  • Experience of bid writing and submissions

  • Specialist sector knowledge

  • Provide leadership and mentoring to junior team members
