Senior Quantity Surveyor - West Central London

The Role: My client, a mid-sized property & construction consultancy are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee a wide range of construction projects from start to finish.

The ideal candidate must be well experienced and be able to work with and manage a team of professionals across all different roles. You will also need to have an analytical mind and exceptional organisational skills to ensure all projects are delivered within the budget.

You can be based in either their London or Northwest offices and you will be working on challenging schemes within the high-end residential, commercial & industrial sectors.

Project values typically range from £10M - £100M. 

Job Location: West Central London

 

Start Date: ASAP

 

Head Count: 75+

 

Project Sectors: High-End Residential, Commercial & Industrial

 

Requirements for the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Previous experience working for UK based property & construction consultancy

  • Ideally educated to degree or equivalent level in Quantity Surveying or a related field

  • Membership of a chartered institute (or working towards) in the construction industry (e.g. RICS, CIBSE, CIOB)

  • Track record of successful project budgetary management cost reporting and cost control through the project lifecycle on projects of varying sizes and complexity

  • In-depth knowledge of construction contract management including standard forms of contract and procurement options

  • Excellent communication skills
