Senior Building Surveyor – South East London

The company now operates from four offices across the country, with an annual turnover of £22M. Hybrid office working is available, with opportunities to work between both of their Central London & Southeast London branches.
The Role: They are seeking a dynamic Senior Building Surveyor, capable of taking the lead role in instructions, client management and assisting other surveyors and graduates within the team, whilst ensuring clients are provided with a high-quality building surveying service!
You would be part of a close nit team comprised of 15 specialists, working across a wide range of company sectors.
A few key personal duties to the position include:
Fulfilling the service role and overall lead client contact in connection with the projects.
Ensuring that all surveying work is in full compliance with relevant statutory requirements and regulations.
Developing and delivering the client requirements through a solid understanding and experience of the environment.
Undertaking professional work and producing reports and schedules following initial survey.
Ensuring that projects and invoices are billed on time, as well as assisting the financial team in the payment of aged debts.

Requirements for the Senior Building Surveyor:
MRICS with minimum 4 years PQE with a Degree in Building Surveying
Clear & concise report writing skills
Expertise in general building surveying i.e. contract administration
Able to meet fee targets and generate new business through building successful client relationships
Experience managing & mentoring teams
Commercial awareness and understanding
Embraces technology to deliver reports efficiently
High level of up to date technical building knowledge
