The Role: I’m introducing this exciting role to join my clients vibrant and expanding Building Surveying team. You’ll be assisting and managing instructions and projects, reporting directly to the Head of the Building Surveying team, working on residential & public sector property projects.

Requirements for the Senior Building Surveyor:

  • Experience working for a UK based Property & Construction Consultancy (essential)

  • Chartered with a minimum of two years post qualification experience or are working towards this

  • Quantity Surveying Degree awarded by a UK university and accredited by the RICS

  • Demonstrable experience of technical due diligence surveys

  • A solid understanding and demonstrable experience in defect diagnosis and planned maintenance schedules

  • Demonstrable experience in party walls and neighbourly advice

  • Demonstrable experience of advising owners and occupiers on maintenance and statutory responsibilities

  • Advanced understanding of contract administration

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD with a good working knowledge in all Microsoft Office packages
