The Role: They are introducing this exciting role to join their expanding Public Sector Regeneration team to carry out a variety of building surveying work on a broad mixture of residential and public sector properties.
Within the Public Sector Regeneration team, this role will focus on pre and post contract work such as feasibility studies, tender docs, contract admin as well as stakeholder management.
What the job involves:
Managing instructions and projects.
Collating and writing reports.
Managing and mentoring junior team members.
Contribute to the team’s skill base developing efficient working practices.
Managing client projects and looking for opportunities for new client development.
Proactively identify risks with robust mitigation strategies.
Producing management reports and communicating progress and forecasts to the client.
Attending sites, as well as internal and external client facing meetings.
Promote sustainable thinking to their clients.

Requirements for the Senior Building Surveyor:
Experience working for a UK based Property & Construction Consultancy (essential).
Chartered with a minimum of two years post qualification experience or are working towards this.
Quantity Surveying Degree awarded by a UK university and accredited by the RICS.
Demonstrable experience of technical due diligence surveys.
Experience in dilapidations for both tenants and landlords.
Demonstrable experience of technical due diligence surveys.
A solid understanding and demonstrable experience in defect diagnosis and planned maintenance schedules.
Demonstrable experience in party wall and neighbourly advice.
Demonstrable experience of writing building condition reports and schedules of condition.
A solid understanding and demonstrable experience of building reinstatement cost assessments.
Demonstrable experience of advising owners and occupiers on maintenance and statutory responsibilities.
A solid understanding of contract administration.
Proficient in AutoCAD with a good working knowledge in all Microsoft Office packages.
You have a full clean driving license.
