Assistant Project Manager - Central London (Kings Cross)

The Role: This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to make a real impact in a role and develop their expertise and career as an integral part of a small close-knit team based out of their London office.

In this role you will be working alongside experienced colleagues, assisting the delivery of project management commissions across a range of projects in various sectors through all phases of design, preconstruction, construction and project completion.

You will be supported by a well-established and highly regarded brand with over 35 years’ experience and strong presence in industry.

Project Sectors: Corporate Occupier, Fit-Out, Residential, Commercial Office, Hospitality & Life Sciences

 

Requirements for the Assistant Project Manager:

  • Limited experience delivering projects at any stage in the project life cycle in one or more of the following or related sectors:

    • Corporate Occupier

    • Commercial Office

    • Residential

    • Hospitality

    • Life Sciences

  • Genuine interest in the built environment and the construction industry

  • Experience assisting/performing the role of the Contract Administrator/Employers Agent under the relevant building contract but not essential

  • BA/BSc/MA/MEng degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Real Estate Development, Architecture or a related engineering field preferred but not essential

  • Desire to work towards professional accreditation with industry related professional body (RICS, CIOB, APM etc) preferred but not essential

  • Prior experience working in a client focused, consultancy-based environment preferred but not essential

  • Excellent organisation and communication skills

  • Ability to prioritise work efficiently

  • Ability to work to deadlines

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word etc

  • Knowledge of ASTA Powerproject software desirable but not essential
