Associate Project Manager - Central London (Angel)

The Role: Unique opportunity to join an independent, employee-owned business as a strategic hire within their Data Centre Team.

This team is effectively a start-up within a highly developed business. Therefore, the ideal candidate will have the freedom to shape the business from their point of view.

Managing data centre construction and technical infrastructure (M&E services) upgrade projects; this is not an IT-related role.

Additionally, the Associate Project Manager will assist in developing and promoting their services within the data centre sector.

Business development will include keeping abreast of current and future market trends, identifying target clients and opportunities, supporting bid preparation and assisting my client to maintain and expand their presence in the sector.

Requirements for the Associate Project Manager:

  • Experience working for a UK based construction / property consultancy

  • Academic qualification in a relevant construction or engineering discipline

  • 4+ years’ experience in managing construction projects involving complex engineering services installations

  • Experience of successfully delivering data centre projects or projects in other relevant sectors i.e., pharmaceutical, infrastructure, industrial, manufacturing, biomedical, petrochemical or similar

  • Technical knowledge of construction, mechanical and electrical services, controls (BMS) and security installations
