Associate Project Manager - Central London (Monument)

You would be responsible for managing the delivery and performance of capital projects of varying size and complexity in their specialist sectors, health, education and science. Covering the full lifecycle of project delivery – from strategic case through to post-occupancy.

Apart from preferably having some previous experience of NEC Contracts all applicants are welcome to apply regardless of previous sector experience. However, exposure within their specialist sectors would be advantageous.

Responsibilities for the Associate Project Manager:

  • Manage the successful delivery of projects of varying size and complexity

  • Act as the key point of contact for clients and teams related to these commissions

  • Work to structured and recognised processes and procedures

  • Support new business development and bid and tender preparation

  • Assist in the development and management of a high performing specialist team of consultants

  • Proactively monitor progress to ensure that all commissions are managed in line with company values, standing financial instructions, and good practice, and in compliance with appropriate legislation, statutory approvals and mandatory standards

  • Comply with commission execution plans, ensuring they are updated as appropriate, throughout the commission

  • Support the development of new business and tender responses

  • Assist in the development and management of the team, demonstrating excellent role model behaviours

  • Monitor fee management and support the team to achieve financial targets

 

Requirements for the Associate Project Manager:

  • Experience working for a UK based construction or property consultancy

  • Experience in one of the above sectors (advantageous)

  • Contract Administration (NEC OR JCT)

  • 5+ years’ experience clearly demonstrated delivering projects
