Project Manager - Central London (Liverpool Street)
The Role: Have you ever wondered what it would be like to get in at a new company before it gets established and become part of the fabric of the business long-term?
I’m working with a new consultancy that after 12 successful months, are looking to add two new recruits.
You would be working on a large £25M Grade II listed building, now in the final stages of selecting a fit-out contractor and need a driven, able Project Manager to join the team.
They will be responsible for the procurement of the main fit-out contract, reporting to client, chairing meetings, and the general day to day management. The building is complex so an understanding and background in construction would be ideal.
Several trade contracts are in place and the contract administration role is intense and hands on. Exposure and clear ability to manage and administrator the contracts, deal with scope gaps, claims and EOT and programme implications, manage these and promptly conclude with client agreement to enable works to progress is paramount.
As they are a small business looking to grow, they also need this individual to take an active role in the development of the business, processes, templates and be part of the drive to secure new business. This person will report to both directors and should ideally have at least 4+ years’ experience.
This person will be helping grow existing clients and find new leads, be part of BD and be progressed as a manager where they will build teams around this person. So, communication, work ethic, attitude and drive are all important.
Client Quote: “We are a start-up looking to grow. This presents them a chance to be involved at all parts of getting the company off the ground and as we grow, this person can become a focal point where we look to build on our “Board” in the coming five years. We will be looking to young talent and a proven track record. Within 10 years, we will be looking at partnership and a chance to be rewarded in shares and permanently become a part of the fabric of the business.”
