Senior Project Manager - Central London (London Bridge)

In addition, they have just moved into brand new offices in London Bridge and typically you would be in the office or with the client three days a week – the rest of the week can be based remotely (if you prefer).

The Role: You would be working across a range of challenging projects which include prime residential, build to rent, student accommodation, commercial offices, logistics & data centres.

Values typically range from £25M - £50M. However, some of their larger schemes exceed £100M.

Key responsibilities for the Senior Project Manager:

  • Acting as the Project Lead reporting to the Project Director on the delivery of projects of scale.  This will include but is not limited to:

    • Manging the pre-purchase technical due diligence process

    • Managing the post-acquisition period of the project, leading the technical team through a series of gateways covering the RIBA stages 1-4

    • Identifying, agreeing, and managing the procurement process and reporting to the client

    • Managing the technical team through the construction phase and post construction phases of the project

  • Value of projects typically range from £20million to £50million and exceptionally up to £100million

  • Acting as role model and mentor to graduate and assistant project managers within the team

  • Representing the company in a professional manner and developing strong working relationships with clients and colleagues alike

  • Recognising our client facing role is acting as a trusted advisor

  • Managing clients’ expectations

 

Experience requirements for the Senior Project Manager:

  • 5 years PQE or having delivered at least 2/3 projects of value above £10M

  • Demonstrable experience of front to end development experience

  • Industrial development experience, Private Rented Sector/Build to Rent or Data Centre experience would be preferred

  • EA experience would be ideal but not required

  • Able to take the lead on projects with assistance from Grad/Assistant PM

  • Willingness to progress learning

  • Ability to analyse quantitative data

  • MRICS or driven to work towards qualification through RICS/CIOB

  • Confident individual with a professional attitude

  • Good presentation and communication skills

  • A team player with a proactive and flexible approach

  • Bringing an attitude of collaboration, willingness to work strategically but recognising that the devil is in the detail - a completer finisher
