Cost Manager - Central London (Victoria)

The Role: My client, an independent Property & Construction Consultancy have an exciting latest requirement to add a Cost Manager to their growing team in Victoria.

They have recently moved into their brand-new state of the art office, located in the heart of Victoria, just a minutes’ walk from the station!

What makes this company unique is that the directors have outlined plans to cap the business at 50 employees, with a goal to remain personable and stand out from being associated as a corporate business.

They have a proven track record to promote internally, with quick progression available to any individual that has a genuine passion to come in make a difference!

Whilst being a boutique consultancy, they have demonstrated they are able to punch above their weight, with international projects taking them to France, Luxemburg, Malta, Asia & they even have a small remote team in Europe! Project values typically range from £1M - £20M.

You would be working within a team of six with up to four days a week office commitment required.

Job Location: Central London (Victoria)

Start Date: ASAP

Head Count: 25+

Project Sectors: Commercial, Landlord Shell & Core, CAT A Refurbishment, Commercial Occupier Fit Out, Hotels & Residential

Requirements for the Cost Manager:

  • 4+ years’ relevant post qualification industry experience

  • Degree qualified – within a construction-related discipline

  • Membership of a chartered institute (or working towards) in the construction industry (e.g. RICS, CIBSE, CIOB)

  • Well-rounded with pre and post contract experience

  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlines scope, budget and timeline

  • Able to work on own initiative

  • A strategic thinker with broad problem-solving skills

  • Experience working in a client-focused environment with a personal commitment to the delivery of excellent client service

  • Positive attitude with a willingness to get involved
