The Role: Are you looking for a new challenge and would you like to work on some of the UK’s most iconic projects?

If so, my client, a global independent property & construction consultancy are interested in recruiting a Project Surveyor to join their London office in Covent Garden.

They were founded back in 1835 and operate in all sectors of the built environment. Whilst being a large-scale consultancy they still offer genuine exposure and quick progression to the right individuals.

Not only will you be working within a large team of 35, but you will also have the chance to work with five company partners offering close mentoring and expert advice.

Employers’ agent experience is welcome but experience within Project Surveying is essential. You will also need to either be chartered or be able to show you have a strong desire to do so.

 

Office Location: Central London (Covent Garden)

Start Date: ASAP

Head Count: 1000+

Project Sectors: Commercial, Residential, Mixed-Use, Fit Out, Hospitality, Leisure & Public Education

 

Requirements for the Project Surveyor:

  • Degree qualified – within a construction-related discipline

  • Membership of a chartered institute (or working towards) in the construction industry (e.g. RICS, CIBSE, CIOB)

  • Well-rounded with pre and post contract experience

  • Experience within a consultancy environment strongly desirable

  • Able to work on own initiative

  • A strategic thinker with broad problem-solving skills

  • Experience working in a client-focused environment with a personal commitment to the delivery of excellent client service

  • Positive attitude with a willingness to get involved

  • Leadership skills - able to provide guidance and advice to junior members in their work and professional development
