Quantity Surveyor - Surrey
The Role: Immediate requirement for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established consultancy to work on various projects across the South of England.
You will need to have experience executing projects to the criteria established by the client within the prescribed timescale and to the agreed budget.
However, being able to maximise fee income whilst maintaining the client’s satisfaction with the quality of service and professionalism of the work is essential.
Duties will include, preparation of cost feasibilities, approximate estimates, cost plans, bills of quantities, specifications and schedule of rates.

Requirements for the Quantity Surveyor:
Experience working for a UK based Construction or Property Consultancy (2 years)
Quantity Surveying Degree awarded by a UK university
Detailed experience of contract administration, financial monitoring and budgetary control
Financial management skills
Fully conversant with IT relevant to construction services
Demonstrate excellent presentation, report writing and general communication skills
Able to convey information professionally, accurately and clearly, in a manner which is capable of being understood by a broad audience
Able to contribute successfully to effective team working
Able to see tasks through to a successful conclusion whilst meeting challenging deadlines and maintaining attention to detail
Meticulous record keeping
