Senior Quantity Surveyor - Central London (Covent Garden)

The Role: They are seeking a self-motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to come & join their team in Covent Garden! You would be working across a variety of company sectors, on projects with values ranging from £1M - £250M!

Based over two floors, you’ll working within a team of 35 including five company partners on hand daily to offer expert advice & mentoring. Due to this proactive management style, they now have one of the best track records for passed employee charterships in the industry!

Whilst being a larger consultancy, they have a proven track record of internal progression all the way from graduate positions to Partner, so don’t worry there’s still plenty of opportunity.

Working from home is offered. However, you will need to be willing to be in the office up to five days a week as and when required!

Project Sectors: Commercial, Residential, Mixed-Use, Fit Out, Retail, Leisure & Hotels

 

Requirements for the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Previous five years’ experience working for UK based property & construction consultancy

  • Ideally educated to degree or equivalent level in Quantity Surveying or a related field

  • Membership of a chartered institute (or working towards) in the construction industry (e.g. RICS, CIBSE, CIOB)

  • Track record of successful project budgetary management cost reporting and cost control through the project lifecycle on projects of varying sizes and complexity

  • In-depth knowledge of construction contract management including standard forms of contract and procurement options

  • Excellent communication skills
