Senior Quantity Surveyor - West London

The Role: Due to expanding business being won across the company, my client has a latest requirement to hire a Senior Quantity Surveyor to their Public Sector Regeneration team!

They are looking for an innovative candidate that is confident in carrying out pre and post contract cost management activities, across an array of exciting projects across London & the South East!

You’ll be taking ownership, accountability & responsibility for projects with an ability to manage and develop client relationships.

Previous public sector experience is favourable & you must be willing to travel nationally with an ability to manage your own diary and workload efficiently.

Requirements for the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • You have a Quantity Surveying Degree awarded by a UK university and accredited by the RICS

  • You are a fully Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS), or are working towards this, with a minimum of five years post qualification experience

  • You have demonstrable experience in the full life cycle of a client project

  • Demonstrable experience of working in professional services

  • A solid understanding and experience of a variety of procurement routes.

  • You have demonstrable line management experience

  • You have solid organisational and management skills

  • You have advanced excel skills with the capability of linking spreadsheets, producing graphical reports, lookup formulae and analysis

  • Solid quantity surveying technical knowledge

  • You’d be at an advantage if you have experience in either public sector housing refurbishment or school’s refurbishment and extensions

  • You have a demonstrable ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at any one time

  • You’re able to work effectively using your own initiative and manage your own workload efficiently

  • You have a full clean driving license

  • You’re willing to travel nationally

  • You’re committed to having fun while working hard, and work hard at having fun
