Senior Quantity Surveyor/Employers Agent - South London

The Company: An award-winning international Property & Construction Consultancy, with over 70 years’ experience successfully delivering projects in North America, Oceania, Asia, Africa, Europe & the Middle East, operating from 72 offices globally.

They are an independently owned consultancy that offer a professional and seamless service in all parts of the world.

The Role: They are looking for a competent Senior Quantity Surveyor who can lead project, with previous experience working an Employers Agent role.

You will be working on very large projects for some of their blue-chip clients in the heart of London!

The ideal candidate should have experience working in offices, residential & mixed-use projects and preferably come from a consultancy background. Ideally, you will also need to be chartered.

You must be demonstrably comfortable leading complex, large projects with significant client facing experience.

A clear progression path will also be identified for the right individual to progress to Associate Director, through the agreement of personal objectives linked to the business objectives in region.

 

Job Location: South London

Head Count: 240+

Requirements for the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Quantity Surveying Degree awarded by a UK university and accredited by the RICS

  • Chartered with a minimum of two years post qualification experience or are working towards this

  • Demonstrable depth of experience in roles directly related to the provision of project Quantity Surveying services in a professional Quantity Surveying Consultancy firm

  • Experience and understanding of the full RIBA Plan of Work Stages

  • A proven ability to lead & deliver on time and provide a high-quality proactive service to clients

  • Ability and desire to mentor others

  • A good communicator (written and verbal) who interacts well with Clients & other Consultants
