The Role:

My client is offering a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to work independently in a thriving small business, potentially with equity on the table for the right person. To be considered for the position, the ideal candidate will have strong business development skills and the ability to work autonomously. Whilst my client has a current focus on healthcare, the incoming candidate can branch out into any specific sector of their choice. To reiterate, having strong client facing skills is imperative and a background within business strategy and growth.

The Company:

The property and construction consultancy was established by two chartered surveyors over two years ago and provides Project Management, Quantity Surveying and Employers Agent services. The owners, who have come from corporate backgrounds with over 30 years industry experience, have deliberately moved away from that working environment. They have a modern outlook on work, more aligned with 2020 where their employees can work flexibly and remotely whilst satisfying clients. In addition, despite this being a remote position, there is always help available and the team regularly meets up, whether on My-Teams, in specific meeting rooms or on site.

Job Location: Remote

Head Count: 10

Predominate Sectors: Healthcare (luxury retirement villages), residential and hospitality.

Requirements for the Director:

 Extensive business development skills

 Experience working for a UK based Construction or Property Consultancy (essential)

 Contract Administration (JCT)

 Employers Agent experience

 5+ years’ experience clearly demonstrated delivering projects

 Highly competitive salary and benefits package to be discussed, which is completely negotiable depending on experience.
