The Role: They are looking for a motivated individual, preferably with experience working in a consultancy environment to work on projects across all company sectors including High End Residential, Commercial Offices, Retail, Leisure & Mixed-Use, reporting to the Associate Director.

In this role you will be leading on the commercial aspects of the projects in the team, most typically representing the Client but occasionally on behalf of a Consultant or Contractor.

You will also be undertaking and supporting their Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors in their work, so being able to provide mentoring & assistance to junior members of the team is looked at favourably & will fast track your progression!

Flexible/remote working is a fixed part of the company. You would be expected in the office 2-3 days a week.

Project Sectors: High End Residential, Commercial Offices, Retail, Leisure & Mixed-Use

 

Requirements for the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Educated degree or equivalent level in Quantity Surveying or a related field

  • Membership of a chartered institute (or working towards) in the construction industry (e.g. RICS, CIBSE, CIOB)

  • Track record of successful project budgetary management cost reporting and cost control through the project lifecycle on projects of varying sizes and complexity

  • In-depth knowledge of construction contract management including standard forms of contract and procurement options

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experienced in people management or supervision
